Language Expert

Language Expert is designed to help in translation work and to achieve higher quality.

Automated translations

Language Expert provides users with translations that come from any configured source. Translation source can be any of the following formats; tmx, Microsoft glossary, Excel spreadsheet, xliff, txt, mld (Multilizer binary dictionary), mpr (Multilizer 5.x/6.x project), or more. See latest Multilizer 2007 factsheet for more info. Translations can be prioritized by match-% (fuzzy match percentage) or by the configured order of translation sources.

Translations are copied to translation editor either by double-clicking a translation or by clicking Ctrl+1 (Ctrl+2, etc.).

Batch Translate button translates all strings in the project for selected target language.

Validations

Translation Consistency Validation

Language Expert contains one validation (apart from the 20+ validations in Quality Expert) -- Translation Consistency Validation.

This validation automatically checks, if project translations are the same as in configured translation sources. This helps to easily track potential translation inconsistencies.

Spell Check

Spell check is supported for those languages that are supported by the MSOffice installation on the user's PC.

If Spell check button is grey, spell check is not available.
