MULTILIZER 6.2 Localization Process
Multilizer localization process is extremely straight-forward, yet as
its simplest it results in considerable time-savings.

Project Tasks
1. Create Project
Multilizer localization begins with creating a new project. Project
Wizard assists in defining the software and content to localize plus some
basic settings, such as target languages. Upon finishing the wizard, Multilizer
will pick all the native strings from the software/content and
store them with a reference in Multilizer Project. If Multilizer detects
previously localized items, it will import the translations too.
2. Automate Translation
Project translations are stored in Multilizer Translation Memory for re-use.
New projects are easily translated using existing terminology. Translation
Memory can be installed on database-server, which enables concurrent use
of it between all team members. Fuzzy match provides "best guess"
translations for strings that haven't been translated before.
3. Share Translation Work
Multilizer includes Exchange Wizard that allows sharing of the translation
work between several persons. For example, one person gets one language
for translation. Exchange Wizard helps to manage the translation flow,
and retain translations in correct context throughout the process.
4. Automated Build of Localized Files
Localized software/content is built by reading original software/content
and using Multilizer project information to create localized versions.
This ensures code-compatibility between original software and localized
versions.

Other Basic Tasks
a. Version control
If original software/content changes, Multilizer can re-scan it. Re-scan
synchronizes original software/content with Multilizer project; Multilizer
automatically detects what has been added, removed or changed. Changes
are easily filtered for easy review. This helps to minimize the localization
work spent on new version of software.
b. Validate
Multilizer Validation Routines do much of the manual work automatically.
They detect localization issues, such as overlaps, as well as incorrect
spelling. Validation reports both give a quick overview of project quality
as well as it serves as reference for prioritizing quality assurance work.
c. Export/Import
It's easy to share translations with other products. Multilizer Import
and Export Wizards allow users to re-use translations in other tasks,
such as documentation translation for example. Besides being more cost-efficient,
this enables companies to use the same terminology everywhere.
