Localization Technology

"We used MULTILIZER® localization t echnology for localizing the entire CalWin software UI. Multilizer could be taken in use without modifying the software at all, and localization could be carried out on 'translating' the application binary."

"Our product was developed in Norwegian, and localized into 2 additional languages by adopting MULTILIZER® in our globalization process. Currently our products support the following languages: Norwegian, Swedish, and English." MULTILIZER® Globalization Process "Our software has been developed with English as the native language. The Wizards combined with the ease of binary localization made it possible to localize the software independently from the development environment. On the other hand, developers benefited from program code shipped with Multilizer. This well-documented code helped us to add language picker with one line of code! "Command-line feature has saved us a lot of work, because now we can do repetitive tasks automatically. For example building localized files is now totally automated. Future Plans

"The built-in Translation Memory in Multilizer gives much more possibilities than the one found in older versions. It gives us more control over which translations get stored in it. With the free Multilizer Translation Memory Manager utility we further plan to start maintaining company terminology in a more systematical way. Our long term goal is to build up our industry-specific glossary to improve the quality in localization and translation projects."
